Daily Safety Brief — show-day standupEasyStagecraft Suite · Module 1 resource pack · Print A4 · 5-minute brief at the stage door each morning
How to use. Fill in the top block the night before (Tomorrow's Call template). Read this verbatim at 08:00 (bump-in / dress / show day) before any high-risk work starts. The whole brief is 4-5 minutes. Sign the bottom + the SWMS register before anyone touches a tool, a fixture, or a fly line.
1 · Hazards present today
Tick every hazard live on site today. Anything ticked: brief the specific control before work starts.
Working at height (ladder, A-frame, EWP, bridge, fly grid, catwalk) — over 2.0m
Live electrical work (patching, distro, dimmers, three-phase)
Manual handling over 15kg, repetitive, or overhead
Power tools running (table saw, mitre, router, jigsaw)
New rigging, new SWMS, gear swapped out, schedule shift, anyone newly on site. If nothing changed, say "no changes" — don't skip the section.

The stop-the-clock invitation
"If anyone — student, parent, staff, contractor — sees something they think is unsafe, stop the work. You will not be in trouble. We will reset and continue. Say it now if you're unsure of anything before we start."
6 · Sign-on register
Everyone on site signs. No signature = not working today. Year-9/10 crew need parent or teacher counter-sign (see SWMS).
